ProDJFX DJ Deck is a professional Max for Live performance device that brings a hardware-style DJ workflow directly into Ableton Live. It combines deck transport, cueing, track navigation, Hot Cues, Hot Loops, standard and triplet looping, Beat Jump, Key Shift, tempo control, synchronization, performance pads, waveform and timing feedback, and multi-deck operation in one integrated deck workflow.
You need Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live available and authorized, and you must use Ableton Live Session View. Audio clips are loaded into Clip Slots on the same audio track as the ProDJFX DJ Deck device. Accurate BPM and beat-grid preparation is important for timing-dependent functions.
ProDJFX DJ Deck requires Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live. Compatibility with future versions of Ableton Live, Max, operating systems, controllers, or third-party software cannot be guaranteed and should be verified before critical live use.
Yes. ProDJFX DJ Deck is a Max for Live device, so Max for Live is required and must be available and authorized in Ableton Live.
ProDJFX DJ Deck automatically enables Warp when a compatible clip is loaded, so no separate manual Warp setting is normally required. For reliable DJ-style timing, the clip BPM and beat grid should be prepared accurately before performance.
Yes. Add each additional ProDJFX DJ Deck to its own Ableton Live audio track and load that deck's clips into Session View Clip Slots on the same track. Practical deck count depends on the complexity of the Live Set and the performance of the computer, so the full multi-deck setup should be tested before live use.
Yes. Device controls can be assigned using Ableton Live's MIDI-mapping system. Actual compatibility depends on the controller, its available controls, and the mapping you create.
ProDJFX DJ Deck works directly with Ableton Live’s global tempo and timing. The deck’s Tempo Slider adjusts Ableton Live’s global tempo, so synchronized tracks in the Live Set follow that tempo. Timing-dependent features rely on correctly prepared clip BPM and beat grids. The SYNC indicator shows whether the active clip is aligned with Ableton Live’s global timing and can be used to correct or realign the clip when required.
Yes. Place ProDJFX DJ Deck on an audio track in Session View and load the clips you want that deck to control into Clip Slots on the same track. As with any live-performance system, test the complete Set, routing, mappings, audio interface, and tracks before using it in rehearsal, broadcast, recording, or live performance.
